The main goals of this stage are to understand the client’s needs, define the project scope, and provide an accurate project estimate. This involves identifying the texts to be translated, the language pairs, delivery deadlines, reference materials, language assets (such as glossaries and translation databases), delivery format specifications, project parameters, and any other relevant project details.
The project manager is responsible for selecting the team members, glossary, reference materials, and project system integration settings (including tool configurations). If needed, they also arrange a training program for the team. At this stage, the project manager must anticipate potential problems and prepare effective solutions.
Translation, proofreading, and review are key phases of the translation process. Experienced translators, who are native speakers of the target language, handle the translation work. Project members regularly report issues, discuss them in project meetings, and seek technical support from customers when necessary. Proofreaders compare the translated text with the original, correcting any errors in accuracy, grammar, spelling, and style. They use automated tools to perform a thorough analytical evaluation of translation quality.
10% of the translated, proofread, and we will choose reviewed files randomly for the Quality Assurance (QA) process’s quality inspection. Guarantee that all client demands are addressed.
After completing a final project evaluation using the task checklist, the project participants and QA manager ensure that all customer requirements are successfully delivered, and all tasks are completed to the required quality standard. The project manager uses the designated means to transmit the completed file to the client.
According to the customer’s feedback results, we analyze and respond to each proposal made by the clients. Based on the agreement achieved by both parties, change the translation and typesetting to enhance the engineering assignment.
Project managers and quality assurance managers perform internal evaluations of project quality and team member performance. The project manager updates the glossary and translations database, backs up all pertinent files and gets everything ready for the upcoming version release. Simultaneously manages both accounts payable and receivable.
